Effective date: August 2026
Most privacy policies are a chore to read. This one covers everything the law requires, but I’ve tried to keep it in plain, careful language so you can actually understand what happens to your information when you visit Style So Loud, a fashion site for women over 40. Please read it. By using Style So Loud, you agree to the practices described on this page. If you don’t agree with any part of it, the best course is to stop using the site.
This policy explains what information Style So Loud collects, how it’s used, who it may be shared with, and the choices and rights you have over your own data.
Privacy Protection for Children Under 13
Style So Loud is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 13. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided personal information to Style So Loud, please contact me at the email address at the bottom of this page, and I will delete that information as quickly as possible.
What Information Is Collected
Style So Loud collects two broad kinds of information.
The first is personally identifiable information that you choose to provide. This may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number or mailing address, if you provide it
- Payment information, if you ever purchase something through the site
- Any other details you include in a comment, form, or message
The second is information collected automatically when you visit, which does not usually identify you by name. This may include:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type and version
- Your operating system
- Your internet service provider
- Date and time stamps of your visit
- The pages you came from and the pages you view on the site
How That Information Is Collected
Style So Loud gathers information in a few straightforward ways. You provide information directly when you fill out a contact form, leave a comment, sign up for the newsletter, or make a purchase. Information is also collected automatically through server log files, cookies, and analytics tools as you browse. Each of these methods is described in more detail in the sections below.
How Information Is Used
The information Style So Loud collects is used to run and improve the site and to serve you better. Specifically, it may be used to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website and its content
- Respond to your questions, comments, and requests, and provide customer service
- Send newsletters, style updates, or other communications you have asked to receive
- Personalize your experience and show you content that fits your interests
- Carry out marketing where you have consented to it
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or technical problems
Style So Loud does not sell your personal information.
Cookies on This Site
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, understand how it’s being used, and improve your experience. Style So Loud uses cookies for purposes such as remembering your settings and measuring how visitors interact with the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Keep in mind that turning off cookies may affect how some parts of Style So Loud work for you.
Log Files
Like most websites, Style So Loud uses standard server log files. These logs record information such as IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information and is used to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather general demographic information about the visitor base.
Web Beacons, Pixels, and Tags
Style So Loud and its analytics or advertising partners may use web beacons, pixels, and tags. These are small pieces of code that help measure how visitors use the site, how content performs, and, in the case of advertising partners, how ads are delivered. They may collect information such as your IP address, browser details, and interactions with pages. This technology helps keep the site useful and, in the future, may support advertising as described below.
Google Analytics
Style So Loud uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit, what pages they view, and what other sites they used before arriving. This helps improve the content and structure of Style So Loud. Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, which you can read at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the browser add-on available from Google.
Affiliate Links and Amazon Associates
Style So Loud participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program, which is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a way for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon and affiliated sites. This means some links on Style So Loud are affiliate links, and if you click one and make a purchase, the site may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Because this is a fashion site, many of these links point to clothing, accessories, and related products I’ve researched or recommend. Affiliate relationships never change which products are recommended or my honest opinion of them.
Advertising Partners
Style So Loud may work with third-party advertising partners now or in the future. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits here and to other websites in order to serve advertising that is more relevant to your interests. Style So Loud does not control the cookies used by third-party advertisers. If you would like to opt out of interest-based advertising, you can do so through the National Advertising Initiative at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/ and the Digital Advertising Alliance at http://optout.aboutads.info/. These tools let you manage personalized advertising from participating companies.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on Style So Loud may include embedded content, such as videos, images, or posts from other websites. Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly. These outside sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. Style So Loud does not control the data practices of those third-party sites.
Links to Other Websites
Style So Loud contains links to other websites that are not operated by me. This privacy policy applies only to Style So Loud. If you click a link to a third-party site, you will be taken to a site governed by its own privacy policy. I encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit. Style So Loud is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

If you interact with Style So Loud on social media platforms, those interactions are also governed by the privacy policies of the platforms where they happen.
